Saturday, October 26, 2013 – Urban Squash (UST) Toronto presents Squash the Stars (STS)
– NHL Edition with Tie Domi and friends. The first annual tournament is scheduled to take
place inside the National Squash Academy, 75 Carl Hall Road, Unit #15, Parc Downsview Park, Toronto, ON, M3K 2B6, available by telephone at (416) 635-9200.

Squash the Stars (STS) will see NHL Legends pair up with squash professionals from around the city for the ultimate doubles tournament. Confirmed hockey legends who are set to participate include Tie Domi, Curtis Joseph, Nick Kypreos, Glenn Healy, and Gary Roberts.

The event is focused on spreading awareness and raising funds for Urban Squash Toronto (UST). “We are very fortunate to have so much support from our sponsors and the community in which we work, and Tie Domi, who has put in a significant amount of time and effort to pull in some of greatest hockey legends in the city!” said UST Executive Director Shivani Ruparell. “We’re incredibly excited to kick off the inaugural Squash the Stars tournament on the 26th and invite everyone to come and be a part of this amazing event!”

The National Squash Academy is the home of the world’s first allglass doubles court and to many local, national and international squash players, including Jonathon Power, former number one player in the world.

Squash the Stars – NHL Edition is a free event open to the public, featuring fun activities, food, and a meet-and-greet with hockey legends. The doubles tournament is set to take place from 11:00 a.m. EST to 6:00 p.m. EST. See you there!
