Can Public Relations CPR red carpet gala for Social Services Network gala has extended the invitation to Dalton McGuinty and has received a letter in support of his absence.

Letter Reads:

“On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I am delighted to extend warm greetings to everyone attending Helping Hands, the Second Annual Fundraising Gala of Social Services Network (SSN)

Helping those in need is a long-cherished value of Ontarians and one of the foundations of the strong and caring society we have built together. I would like to applaud everyone attending tonight’s event in support of SSN and the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. Take pride in knowing that your dedication and generosity are a true reflection of the community spirit for which Ontarians are well known.

I would like to thank everyone who has invested time, energy and enthusiasm in making this year’s gala a reality, including the dedicated organizers and the generous sponsors. Through your contribution, you are helping to make your community, and Ontario, a better place to live, work and raise a family.

I wish to comment the board of directors, volunteers and staff of SSN for their dedication to helping connect York Region’s South Asian community with local organizations to ensure they have access to the services they need, when they need them.

Please accept my best wishes for a memorable gala and highly successful fundraiser.”
